La Chamba's aji bowl and spoon set are traditionally used to serve Colombian aji, a spicy sauce that we typically use to bathe empanadas in. But the boldness of la chamba's pottery technique gives this little bowl great character. Use it for a variety of sauces or condiments, or to simply keep your sea salt in.
Rosa Magnolia Salazar is the leading artisan of Punto y Arte, a small yet highly skilled workshop composed of 12 family members. They are part of the larger community of La Chamba, a town that is solely dedicated to, and subsists from the production of this ancient earthenware technique.
